a complete change of sound from Pornography's dark and angry premise. it follows the same vein of 'The Walk' and 'The Lovecats' excluding the tracks 'Wailing Wall', 'Give Me It' & 'The Top'. what feels like a total Robert Smith solo album, is one of the first of their albums to hit the US charts. when listening to this you'll get an idea of how drugged up robert was, in now way is he still doing them today though, maybe a drink or two, but no drugs, at least, that's what i know. the flow of this album is great, it's like a good acid trip, gets good, turns REALLY ugly, then turns back into a nice little boat ride on the lake of fire. i give this album an 8 out of 10. check out the video for 'The Caterpillar'. link in comments.
