I'm Caught In A Trap

face it, i'm cooler than you.
there is no denying that i am vastly superior,
when it comes to certain things.
you're lagging behind in some areas,
the stampede is closing in,
you should have joined me in this horse drawn coach,
now you're just going to have to get trampled.
what a shame.

Beware of the Dog - Hound Dog Taylor & the Houserockers (blues)
i usually don't take kindly to live albums unless i know the group or artist really well, but this one, it sucked me right in. i didn't feel awkward listening to it, i felt sort of welcomed, if that's possible. Hound Dog can put on one hell of a show, i wish i could have experienced at least one. this is a prime example of what a live album should be.

Stations of the Crass - Crass (anarcho)
after a sweet 19 track album, we get thrown into a live set. lemme tell you, they crash & bang through it in such a masterful way. the energy is truly captured here, well auditory-wise.

Ghost Town EP - the Specials (two-tone)
a must have for any fan of two-tone or the specials or good music in general. if you don't have it already, get it now.

Oasis of BLOOD

alright listen,
it's just you & me now man,
the turtle is out.
he went off to join gabara.
it's fine though,
we can make it on our own.

Peel Sessions 1983-1986 - the Smiths (music)
like the smiths? so do i and so does the rest of the world, one way or another.

Strawberries - the Damned (punk)
a great cut from Vanian & co., i really prefer the later releases from the damned. i enjoy the darker sound they adapted while still retaining their punk roots.

The Feeding of 5000 - Crass (anarcho/punk)
a must have for any fan of music. this is for you james.
