Back.

hey there dear readers! we're back from our vacation. :) apologies about that re-post. our fellow contributor Sanscosm had his own reasons for doing that. ;D but i come bearing a gift. a mixtape. yes, another one. i hope you guys like these, i put some effort, SOME. haha. i hope it turned out the way i wanted it to, i'm afraid that some songs may be missing, if that's the case, PLEASE tell me. thanks. now onto the track list.

1.Baby Brother - the White Stripes
this one reminds me of rockabilly, the good stuff, the classics, but with a twist of peppermint, if you catch my drift. :)

2.Cannibal Holocaust - Os Catalepticos
awesome psychobilly from these, correct me if i'm wrong, brazillian cats, i haven't gotten the chance to see these guys, but a friend of mine tells me they bring it.

3.Shock The Monkey - Peter Gabriel
i recently watched an episode of South Park in which Wendy leaves Stan for that token black kid, Token, and one of Wendy's friends, Bebe tells Stan to stand outside her window & play Peter Gabriel ala Say Anything, let's just say, things don't go to well for Stan, this song being his choice.

4.The Nigga You Love To Hate - Ice Cube
i've got to say, between Eazy, Cube & Dre, Cube is by far the best out of the three, don't get me wrong, i love Eazy & Dre, but Cube brings it to the table, and he ain't servin' microwaved dinners he brings ya the real deal.

5.Tommorrow Comes Today - Gorillaz
i've been listening to the Gorillaz since 6th grade, they hit me as some sort of greatness as a kid, and continued to do so in my teen years. :)

6.King Rat - Guana Batz
another great psychobilly song. this one sort of a diss song, insulting the group King Kurt, i don't blame the Batz for hatin', i hate King Rat, err, King Kurt.

7.My Moon, My Man - Feist
you can thank that Chocolate phone commercial for putting this song on here, i fell in love with it, the beat at first, then the singer's voice captured me. :)

8.You Can't Keep A Good Man Down - the Meteors
i made sure to put a lot of psychobilly in this one, it's all i've been listening to recently, aside from 'Mammal Sauce', that's an inside joke. no. you can't know anything about it. :P OTMAPP.

9.No Shadow Kick - Mew
i love mew, the pokemon & the band, ever since i heard 'King Christian' i was a fan.

10.Nuke Mutants - Demented Are Go
i love when dag does this country/corridos, it makes me feel at home.

11.Bitches In Tokyo - Stars
new stars for you guys, i'm sure most of you have this, but for those that don't, you should get it.

12.Rum Is For Drinkin', Not Burnin' [acoustic] - Senses Fail
i'm not a big fan of Senses, but this song, i like it, i like pirates & i like acoustic stuff.

13.Madhouse - Anthrax
guitar hero II.

14.Union of The Snake - Duran Duran
i saw the video for this song during my recent trip to los angeles, i loved it.

15.Fakin' Jamaican - Skankin' Pickle
i'm a sucker for ska.

16.I Summon You [demo] - Spoon
i'm sure a lot of you have this as well, but like i said before, for those that don't, get it.

17.I Need You Tonight - INXS
like 'Union' i recently saw the video for this one, and it refreshed my love for INXS.

18.Hanging By A Moment - Lifehouse
buzz ballads.

19.Another State of Mind - Social Distortion
the band i'm in is planning on covering this song. i listen to it a lot. yeah.

20.Viva La White Girl [Remix] feat.Lil Wayne - Gym Class Heroes
i love lil wayne. i love GCH. yeah.

thanks. keep downloading. link in comments. :)

The Living Is Easy.

ah. summer is here in full bloom. way hot in california, especially in my desert town. it's all good though, it's the time where we get to leave and bug other people in other states like they bug us. :D it's a neverending chain. but i come bearing a gift. a mixtape, as promised. i'm uploading it as we speak. so it may be awhile. ha. but yes! it is another themed mix. guess what the theme is. you guessed wrong. our theme is SUMMER. haha. i know i'm not much of a blogger, but i try, you know? i really goofed on Cure coachella concert. apologies on that one. :/ i always hope for the best, i want to make it big, like Regnyouth or The Smoking Section. Totally Fuzzy is a big help with that. they bring me my traffic. and i can't complain. :D i'd like to take a qucik sec to thank you all that have been coming and checking on me. :] thanks. well LINK IN COMMENTS. :D
1.Blister In The Sun - the Violent Femmes
it's pretty hot outside. make sure to bring your sunscreen. i'm sure this song isn't a PSA for sunblock, but it could be considered that, well not really but you get my point.
2.Police Truck - Dead Kennedys
i know it has nothing to do with the summer, but the music, not the lyrics, make me feel like a skateboarder skatin' down the pier lookin' for some bitches. ok not really but the skateboarding thing is there. :D
3.Rockaway Beach - the Ramones
classic ramones here, i would've chose California Sun, but that feels a bit cliche for my mixtape full of cliches. :D go to the beach and rock away. or go to the one in NY or San Fran.
4.So Rough, So Tough - Zapp & Roger
classic funk. Zapp is a group with Roger Troutman, while Roger is Roger Troutman, haha. Sadly in 1999 Roger Troutman was killed, i think his brother shot him, or was that Marvin Gaye? i don't remember, all i know is that he was killed in '99.
5.Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf) - Pixies
one of my favorite pixies song, especially this version, it's slow, and perfect for a drive home from the beach.
6.Let Me Ride - Dr.Dre
G-Funk at it's best. takin' a cruise down the street with your homies, bumpin' this jam, fuck yeah.
7.My Summer Vacation - Ice Cube
more classic early '90's gangsta rap. a nice fanatasy of Ice Cube's, although nowadays it's reality, sadly. but it's a fun song. :)
8.Skankin' To The Beat - Fishbone
ska always gets me in a summer mood, makes me wanna skank, makes me wanna dance. you should dance. now.
9.Summer Skin - Death Cab For Cutie
another cliche in my summer mixtape, haha, it's a good song, for a front porch, eating watermelon and drinking lemonade.
10.Island In the Sun - Weezer
sadly, another cliche, haha, go on a vacation, visit a plain full of wild animals or just go to disneyland like the rest of us. :D
11.1979 - Smashing Pumpkins
the other night, i was riding with my friends, we were playing this song, loud, it was like the video, sort of, 2 chicks rather than 1. haha. :)
12.Summertime - Will Smith
this is getting insane, haha, but it is a good song for a picnic, i love the Kool & the Gang sample.
13.Armagideon Time - the Clash
i first heard this on the 'Grosse Point Blank' OST, i loved it, made me a Clash fan.
14.What's My Name - Snoop Doggy Dogg
another g-funk classic, i remember being 3 and listening to this, and knowing all the words.
15.Front Door - Gregory Issacs
i just love greg. he gots some relaxing music and sometimes, it's easy to relate to.
16.Radio Clash - the Clash
i don't really like this version, i prefer the alternate one, but it is a good track nonetheless, i'm waiting to see that Joe Strummer flick, it looks good.
17.California Love feat.Dr.Dre - 2pac
my state knows how to party, it does, we all do, EVERYDAY. believe it.
18.Doin' Time [Uptown Dub] - Sublime
one of the MILLIONS of remixes of this song. it's my favorite out of the few i've heard, i'm a sucker for dub versions of songs.
19.'Brazil Song' - Gym Class Heroes
i do not know the name of this song, i just have it titled what it's titled, if anyone knows the real title, please tell me. :D
20.Barbara Ann - the Beach Boys
don't ask.
PS.if the tracks aren't correct, let me know, thanks. :)
